    483483It is a lot of work to implement and maintain support for an additional protocol. As Pidgin developers are volunteers who work for Pidgin during their spare time, they have only limited time which means that they can only support a limited number of protocols. If you are willing and able to implement and maintain a protocol that you're using, you're welcome to do so.
